PhotoCard was first created for entry into the Holiday Cocoa Duel in 2006. We are resurrecting PhotoCard to bring to you
sometime later this year. PhotoCard makes it fast and easy to create your very own personalized greeting card during special
holidays, or any time of the year. PhotoCard is in Beta and is completely free to use at this time.
PhotoCard requires OS X 10.3.9 or 10.4.3 or better. It is a Universal Binary.
To install PhotoCard, simply drag the application from the disk image to your Applications folder.
How to Use
PhotoCard is divided into three sections - a template list, your message, and your photo. The templates give the photo eCard
the "look" - you can select the template from the list on the left of the user interface. You can add more templates by
dragging and dropping the new template into the list. Add your photo, by dragging and dropping it into the center part of the
UI window. Finalize your card by typing your message into the text input field, located at the bottom of the UI.
The top of the PhotoCard window contains the tools for adjusting the zoom factor of your photo and the attributes of the text
in your message. Click and drag the photo to position it inside the photocard. After you have your card done, use the File-
>Export PhotoCard.. menu option to save it to disk. Or Copy/Paste->Copy PhotoCard to Clipboard to copy the PhotoCard to
the clipboard and paste it into an email message.
