ImageWell 2.1 Universal Binary & Dutch Translation
Now Available
Kitchener, Ontario, Canada — March 1, 2006 — ImageWell, the popular image-
editing tool for quick manipulation and upload to the web, has just been
released with Intel-based Mac support and Dutch localization. This universal
binary version, V2.1, also adds a "Random Filename Generator" and "Send to
Folder" feature, plus much more. Version 2.1 is available for download
immediately from XtraLean Software at xtralean.com. Dutch translation is
courtesy of Rob V.D. Berg from Holland. ImageWell is available in eight
different languages and is still completely free.
ImageWell 2.1 supports both Intel-Mac and PPC, comes with Dutch language
support, and the vastly requested Random Filename Generator has been
brought back to this version. Random filename generation will help speed up
the naming of files and exporting process even more. Other new features and
improvements include the “Send to folder” option as another alternative for
saving edited images to a hard drive, the addition of a shortcut key (Command-
S) for Sending files, as well as other minor fixes. More languages will be added
to future versions of ImageWell and universal binary support for XtraLean’s
other products has already been added.
ImageWell Version 2.1, Build 227 requires Mac® OS X 10.3.9 or higher.
ImageWell supports dot Mac accounts, FTP, and WebDAV. ImageWell may work
with 10.3.0 – 10.3.8 but testing on anything less than OS X 10.3.9 has been
discontinued. Upgrading to 10.3.9 or 10.4.5 is recommended for optimal
performance.
