Options panel

Clicking the Options button (found under the More tab) reveals the options panel that slides out of the side of the main window. To close the option panel, click the options button again.

The Server tab on the options panel lets you set up the information for the server that you want to send your image to. (ImageWell will send the image to the specified server when you click the send button). ImageWell supports the iDisk (.Mac account), FTP or WebDAV (HTTP) transfers to a remote server.

When the send button is clicked, ImageWell can optionally copy the url of where the image is, as well as insert special HTML or discussion board tags. With one click you can send an image to your iDisk and then paste the URL right into an email message or discussion forum post.

The image tab lets you define some more optional image attributes, such as the background color of jpg images, the quality or compression factor, and an override so that all images sent when the send button is clicked are jpgs and are not bigger than the specified size.

When sending images with the Send button ImageWell will overwrite any image with the same name on your iDisk/web server. You can use the Generate Random filenames to create a unique name for any file sent so you don't accidentally write over a previous image.
