Main Application Window

The window can be divided into two parts. The top third and bottom row of buttons contain the major functionality of ImageWell. In between these parts (the middle portion) is a tabbed interface the lets you change the image properties, shape, add a label, and setup options for sending images to your iDisk or web server

The top third of the window has the same image well and send, copy, paste buttons as the mini window. These controls work the same. Clicking the Send button will reveal a progress bar at the top of the window showing the file transfer status.

On the bottom of the main window, the Edit button reveals an edit panel. The edit panel lets you crop the image and add talking clouds or balloons to your image.

Next to the Edit button is the Grab button. Clicking the Grab button will momentarily make ImageWell invisible, grab an image of your screen, and then automatically import the image and activate the edit panel. This one click operation lets you grab a screen and crop the area of the screen snapshot quickly.

The first Function Tab (far left of menu) shown above is the Image tab. Click on the Image tab to use the file naming, file type (jpg or tif), and resize features, available below the tab. Type in the name of your image file, select the type of file by clicking on the up + down arrow button, and use the control slider to set the size for your image. Images can be resized from 5% to 100% of original size. The image properties area is status information only and is not editable.
