The Copy and Paste buttons

The Copy button in ImageWell will copy the image in the well to the clipboard (or Pasteboard). The Paste button in ImageWell will paste an image already on the clipboard into ImageWell.

For example,

  1. Use your browser to locate a web page that contains an image.
  2. Control click on the image and select Copy Image to Clipboard
  3. Go to ImageWell and click the Paste button

The image on the web page now appears in ImageWell

Or,

  1. Drag an image into ImageWell
  2. Click the Copy button
  3. Select an application that can paste images from the clipboard
  4. Select Edit->Paste from the application menu

The image is pasted into the application from ImageWell
