Chapter 2. Getting Started

Stay organized from the beginning and life will be much simpler. Some general settings

and organization at the beginning of your project will only take a few minutes and save

you lots of time down the road. This chapter outlines where to start when opening

ShutterBug for the first time and how to create your first ShutterBug project. This

chapter also gets you started with the construction of your navigation menu - adding,

naming, and ordering pages in ShutterBug's page hierarchy, as well as other page-

specific settings such as password protection, external links, and saving filenames.

Additions to the manual for new 2.0 features relevant to this chapter include:

Naming your website (masthead text), adding & editing footer text, and linking the

masthead and footer text.

ShutterBug's hierarcy, and adding, deleting, and naming photo album and

group pages in the navigation list.

Arranging and reordering web pages in the navigation list.

Organizing and naming site files, showing/not showing pages in the navigation

menu, adding external links to the pages in the navigation, and password
