Quickstart Instructions for Locations 

1. To Add a Server Location:

• Click the "+" add button located at the bottom left corner of the window. 
  A new text field will appear labeled as: (dbl clk to edit).  

• Double click this field to give the server location a title/name. 

• Go to the right side of the Location pane and choose the corresponding server location
  from the drop down menu located just under the "Location Properties" heading. 

• Fill in the Host Name information, your username and password, as well as a directory
  folder name if desired (i.e. "Pictures").   

• If the URL for viewing is different from the URL that you send to, enter the appropriate
  URL information under the "URL for viewing in browser" heading.  

• To add more than one server location, repeat steps 1) through 5). 

• When you are done adding locations, click the OK button located at the bottom right
  corner of the Locations window. 

• ImageWell will save and store your information. 

• To see your list of server locations, go to the main application window. Click on the
  drop down list located to the right of the Send button.  The web server locations you
  set up in the Locations window will be displayed by the title/name you assigned to them.   

• To send an image to one of the locations, choose the desired server from your drop
  down list. Then hit Send.

2. To Delete a Server Location:

• Go to Locations in ImageWell preferences.
  
• Highlight the location you wish to delete by clicking on it.
  
• Click the "-" remove button located in the bottom left corner of the window.
  The location and its properties will be removed from the list immediately.
  Note: the location to be deleted must be highlighted first, before hitting the delete button. 
  This action cannot be undone.
  
• When you are finished deleting locations, click OK.

3. To Change or Modify an Existing Server Location:

• Go to Locations in ImageWell preferences.
  
• Highlight the location you wish to change by clicking on it. The existing properties for that location will appear on the right side of the pane.
  
• Make the desired changes.
  
• If you want to change the title/name you gave to a location, double-click the location name field to edit the text. 
  
• When you are finished modifying your locations, click OK.
  
• ImageWell will save and store your changes.
