Note: Starting with version 3.5, ImageWell is no longer available as a free product with the option to
upgrade to the Xtras. Version 3.5 and above of ImageWell is a paid product.
These features were formally known as the 'Xtras'. Now these are the standard features of ImageWell
3.5 or better. If you purchased the Xtras, version 3.5 is a free update!
Batch Image Processing
Use ImageWell to resize, watermark, and export an entire
folder of images all at once. You can also apply a template
that you've made to your images all at once. Simply drag
and drop two or more images into the well and the batch
window opens - allowing you to batch process multiple
images.
Press the 'Send' button to send the images to your server, or
select File->Save As.. to save the images to a folder on your
computer.
Multiple Images on the Canvas
Now you can add multiple images to the canvas.
Either drag and drop the image onto the canvas, or
right click on the canvas and select from the
following -
You can also select an image and then copy/paste
the image with Command-C and Command-V to
make a duplicate of that image.
Add to Favorites
As well as new shapes and draw objects, version 3.5 add the ability to store your
favorite objects. For example, if you are constantly changing the background color
of a draw object to yellow and adding a drop shadow, then right click on the draw
object and select Add to Favorite. Now all of the attributes of that draw object are
stored and accessible from the favorites icon at the top.
Brightness, Contrast and Saturation
By clicking on an image in edit mode, new image editing controls are available to adjust the
brightness, contrast and saturation of the image.
Setting the Canvas size
The size of the image is automatically calculated to enclose all the draw objects and images. If you
prefer to set the canvas to a specific size simply click the canvas size button at the bottom in the scroll
bar area. A window will slide out letting you change the size from Automatic to a specific size.
